The Lightning features a stepped hull design, which reduces the wetted surface the hull and increases the boat’s efficiency, speed and fuel economy. The stepped hull delivers an incredibly stable and predictable ride and our signature Carolina flared bow ensures a dry ride at lower speeds. In addition, the absence of hard waterline transitions reduces hull slap while at rest or under trolling motor power.

Boasting 360° fishability, the huge unobstructed forward casting area features an anchor locker and plenty of dry storage. The aft platform features a 35-gallon oval livewell and two large dry insulated storage compartments that can be used as a 120-quart cooler or plumbed as a 26-gallon release well. Combine these features with the ergonomic console, under gunnel rod storage, comfortable seating and oversized gunnels, the Beavertail Skiffs Lightning has the winning formula for any serious tournament angler.
