My most fond memories as a kid were fishing the coastal piers with my grandfather in Atlantic Beach, North Carolina. After my family relocated to Kansas City, I spent time chasing bass—and then trout—throughout my college years. I always knew I wanted to make it back to the coast.
My wife and I eventually settled in New Port Richey, Florida, where we immediately bought a skiff and immersed ourselves in the local fishery. Today, I specialize in guided sight fishing trips for migratory tarpon, redfish, and snook. I also spend part of my year on the Middle Texas Coast, offering seasonal redfish trips from late July through the end of October. I love sight fishing gamefish in both areas and live for watching them eat a well-presented fly or lure.
I guide out of two Beavertail Skiffs—the Mosquito and the Air—each offering a unique platform tailored to different conditions and client needs. You can check availability and book trips for both Florida and Texas at bflycharters.com.
