I am a second generation Florida native and I’ve been fishing the Gulf Coast of Florida, primarily from Cedar Key to Boca Grande, since childhood. I grew up fishing and diving with my father all over the state of Florida. At 12 years old I became a certified diver and I am now a dive master and avid spearfisherman, so I understand the behavior of fish. During high school and college I interned with Mote Marine Laboratories in hopes of learning as much as possible about our vast marine environment. As the tour manager for the Shimano Fishing Tour in 2006, I traveled the country to meet and fish with some of the legends of our industry. I have been guiding for the last decade and specialize in inshore and near-shore fishing for everything from snook and redfish to grouper and snapper. The poling maneuverability in shallow water combined with the large deck and stability of my Beavertail Strike makes it the perfect choice for how I fish Tampa Bay. I am U.S. Coast Guard licensed and insured, as well as CPR certified for both children and adults.
